Zero Down VA home loans with NO upper Loan Limits in 2020
Starting in 2020 VA will no longer require a down payment on loans greater than the conforming loan limit. Zero Down VA loans NO upper loan limit starting Jan 1st, 2020.
Currently, zero down VA loan limits are the same as those set by the Federal Housing Finance Agency on conforming loans. The limit in 2019 is $484,350 in a typical U.S. county and higher in high-cost counties. So if you were buying a house for $485,000 or more in an area that is not considered high-cost you would need a down payment based on your entitlement. This all changes starting Jan 1st, 2020!
VA funding fee changes in 2020:
2.3% up from 2.15% First use Zero down loans
3.6% up from 3.30% Subsequent use loans
EXEMPT Active Duty service members who received a Purple Heart.
The Funding fee can be paid upfront or rolled into your loan.
