2021 Loan Limits for FHA Mortgages

FHA  —  Closed on or after Jan 1st 2021

FHA announced December 2, 2020 in Mortgagee Letter 2020-41 that the low-cost and high-cost county limits have increased effective with case numbers assigned on or after January 1, 2021. Loan limits are county specific.

The low-cost areas mortgage limits have increased to:

  • One-Unit: $356,362
  • Two-unit: $456,275
  • Three-unit: $551,500
  • Four-unit: $685,400

High-cost areas are also county specific and the highest limits:

  • One-unit: $822,375
  • Two-unit: $1,053,000
  • Three-unit: $1,272,750
  • Four-unit: $1,571,750
